tonypepperBeta anyone?
Cause I really don't trust myself to do a full fledged Ironman fic all by my lonesome...
I need a beta for some fresh fic I've been cooking up in the cranium and will post hopefully soon. The Fourth is gonna give me a real opportunity to write, considering I've been on a nonstop binge of classes, work, and the little sleep I do get for the last two years.
I'm a little rusty, in other words.
So, if anybody wants to waste time and beta anything I'm likely to spit out at random hours of the early morning, give me a holla.
Now, as for fic ideas....
The main fic I've been cooking up for like, a month maybe, is one I'm calling The Prodigy. It's a Tony Stark before he became the Tony Stark story, from ages 15 to 21. You know, college, sex, alcohol, girls, Rhodey, and his first love, my fave original character, Angie. I'm hoping to make this one pretty long, somewhere from 25 to 40 chapters if my muse will hold out that long.
I've got a couple of others in the making too, a TonyPepper that's more than angsty-something to do with "what if Pepper gets seriously injured because of Tony?" type of story I have yet to name or fully map out. If anyone wants to collab, I'll be more than willing to oblige; I'm not very good with the angst by myself.
I have a oneshot already written but I have some things to cut and add to first before I even submit for a beta. It's a TonyPepper mostly, with a touch of Pepper/Rhodey (ya damn right) and it's bittersweet, though more sweet than bitter. Takes place pre-RFA (Return From Afghanistan) and is probably the usual 'Tony's best friends need each other piece' but I really couldn't help myself...:)
And then, for cracktastic purposes...The Sleepover. It's crackfic at it's best (though not completely written out and isn't very long; four to six chapters at the most) mainly centering on Pep, Rhodey, and Happy dealing with a house bound Tony, who, under strict orders from Nick Fury, is prohibited from leaving the mansion for the week following that infamous press conference. It gets a little touchy by the end, but is pretty damn stupid most of the time and just plain fun.
Anyways, I'd love some feedback on my ideas, the beta idea, and if any talented fic writers would like to take a crack at one of the ideas (with the exception of The Prodigy, don't hesitate to message me or leave a comment.
